So in reality it
only took me 13 days
to reach my project
goal. Here are some
comments concerning
the stats kept..
Total hrs played:
This is mostly time
spent in the morning
before I go to work.
I have a normal life
beyond morning poker
that needs my
attention. I have
also noticed in past
poker sessions that
after around and
hour, the play drags
on. It is my hunch
that if someone
where to use this
system as a full
time job, they could
do ok, but probably
not keep the same
numbers as I am
posting with short
1-3 hour gaming
sessions in the
mornings.
The Gain / Hr is
about as good as
could ever be
expected at this
limit. Playing 3-4
tables can impact
the results of
anyones play. If one
plays the cards and
the person sitting
across from them,
they can not play
3-4 tables at once.
You can’t keep track
of all the players
at your table and
then make good
decisions on how to
react to their raise
based on
“recollecting” that
they bluffed once.
The beauty of this
system is that it is
purely objective.
You can effectively
ignore the other
players at your
table. However,
there are mechanisms
in place so that you
can deal with other
players getting
reads on you. The
approach is
systematic in that
you effectively
change tables if
people keep folding
against you
(indicating - enough
people at the table
have a read on your
tight - aggressive
play).
The table hours
section demonstrates
how many hours would
have been played had
one table been up at
all times. Playing
multiple tables
gives the user a
tremendous advantage
while playing Low
Limit Holdem.
Total hands played
is essentially 10k.
This was a key limit
that I wanted to hit
and I did hit it.
This is key because
it demonstrates that
the results of week1
and week2 are not
simply flukes or a
run of good luck. I
did suffer what felt
like a run of bad
cards lasting for
about 2 days. During
this run, I posted
my only negative day
and a slight gain
day. Kept losing
hand after hand.
Likewise, I had a
nice run of cards
once or twice as
well where it just
felt like I was
hitting everything I
needed to. This is
poker. The rest of
the time, you are
just grinding out
profits. The system
operates on a
principle of keeping
gains large and
losses small. Lots
of FOLDING going on.
With 10k hands being
tested, the results
are incredible.
Ultimately, this
means that any new
player should be
able to pick up the
system and get
similar results.
Since you are
playing objective
poker, experience
means little.
In conclusion, I am
quite excited about
the results and am
looking forward to
my next project.
Project $2400...
To all who supported
me and wished me
luck, I sincerely
thank you. For those
who have been
following my
progress, thanks and
keep watching. It
will definitely get
interesting at the
$2/4 tables. Keep
following along..

things went great.
The winning streak

I will post a

Notes: So tonight I
sat down and played
for almost 2 hours
and what a night! I
was hot(actually the
cards and system
were, I just
obeyed). Seems like
I hit every hand I
needed. And now,
since the goal of
this project was to
reach $1200 from the
initial $400,
tonight marks an
important night. I
have hit my first
goal set. Can’t
think of any bad
beats today - I
guess there was one,
a full house beat by
str8 flush. I did
have a nice 4 of a
kind beat a flush
however. Again,
these work
themselves out long
term.
So, what to do
now???
I am actually
considering playing
the $2/4 tables for
a little while to
see how my system
stacks up. I am
fairly confident it
will do ok, however
there might be some
changes made to it.
The other part of me
says, why be greedy,
you are rocking the
$1-2 tables, why go
up. Is an extra $400
a week not enough
for you?? This is
good money, I mean
with an extra $400 /
month you can get a
new car, upgraded
house, nice stereo
system, feed the
poor or whatever.
THIS IS $400 per
WEEK (if it
continues like this,
it‘ll be $1600 /
month). I am still
stunned and amazed.
I haven’t counted
yet, but I’m sure
I’ve hit the 10k
hands played mark -
meaning the system
has been flushed
through quite a bit
of hands (lending me
more confidence in
it‘s ability to
outperform the
average player -lots
of average and way
below average on the
1-2 tables). I will
provide another
update once I hit
day 14 with the
stats for this week.
For now (until I hit
day 14) I will
continue to play the
$1-2 tables. After
Day 14 update is
posted(tomorrow??),
I will provide a
more thorough
explanation of what
project 2 will
entail.
Take care everyone..

Notes: The 2 day

continues. Again,
all is going well
within what my
expectations were.
Most people consider
that 2bb/hr is great
(with one table
2bb/hr is good - to
come close to this
with 4 tables open
is awesome). Had
lots of little
losses today as can
be seen by the 5%
win rate (low win
rate by this systems
standards). Only
$140 to go to hit my
projects goals.
Possible ideas for
follow on will be to
aply this system to
the $2/4 game. More
on this later.

Notes: Ok, a bad day
and an up day. This
will work J. Today I
played the longest
session yet. Overall
it was a winning
day. The system had
some nice wins. A
couple bad beats as
well, but overall
the play felt pretty
good. Will I make it
to $1200 by the end
of the week? We
shall see.
Again, all is going
well within what my
expectations were.
The second week has
been slightly slower
than the first
however as long as
I’m winning and
growing my bankroll
I’m happy.
Considering I
started with $50 and
now have around a
thousand within
approximately 2
weeks, I consider
all to be a success.
This low limit
system ROCKS!

Notes: After a 10
day winning streak,
the streak has
ended. Today,
playing was a little
rough. Many bad
beats. Lots of
premium pairs
getting killed even
after following the
strategies rules.
Somewhere around 6
bad beats including
sets getting beat by
bigger sets or
flushes, flushes
getting beat by
kigher flushes (K
flush), even a full
house lost.
The good news is
that overall the
system still is
performing as
expected. No system
can generate wins
every day. That is
impossible. A good
system recognizes
this and looks at
the long term
results. The fact
that in around 11
days of playing I
have almost hit my
goal of $1200 is
amazing. We’ll see
what the next couple
of days bring.

Notes: A winning day
is a good day. The
streak continues(10
days now). I
actually played a
little last night
and some this
morning. The results
above are the merged
results of the two.
Had a couple big bad
beats early on that
put me down, but
eventually the wins
started coming and
they quickly covered
the losses.
Take care everyone..
Day 9 +22.29$/hr

Amt Won: $39
$/hr: 22.29
Notes: Overall a
good day. Had lots
of bad beats (3 to
be sure). Two sets
beat by bigger set
and full house. Also
a K-high flush beat
by A-high. These
equate to fairly big
pots lost. Again, if
I kept track of how
many times I
delivered a bad beat
on someone they
probably would equal
out. This system is
geared towards
killing the low
limit game and thus
far it is, even with
some bad beats
everyonce in a
while. Even though
it is low limit, the
pots that we win
(because of the
techniques this
strategy uses)
should be higher
than the average for
this limit ($1-2).
Overall- This is now
a nine day winning
streak. Granted, I’m
only playing around
1-3 hours / day, but
this is with 3-4
(usually 4) tables
running -so in
reality it is 9-12
table hours.

Notes: One of the
best shorter
sessions I’ve had.
Still had 2 bad
beats but overall
things went great.
Had lots of good
starting hands dealt
to me as can be seen
from the high flops
seen %. This was
only 1.5/hr session
however so it could
be skewed slightly.
Overall- a great
start for next week.
It’s unbelievable
that I’ve not had a
loosing session yet
(8 day winning
streak). I’m sure I
am due however so I
am prepared. Again,
greed is a powerfull
enemy we must deal
with. A loss should
be handled as a
simple loss. Don‘t
go up in levels
trying to win it
back. Stick to the
system and you‘ll
come out ahead.

My goal of $1200 is
fast approaching.
From $400 to $880 in
7 days is awesome.
Especially
considering that
this is all from low
limit holdem ($1-2
tables). I am
extremely pleased
with these results.
Every day I have
logged a winning
day. I have had what
feels like bad days
and still a gain is
posted(lots of bad
beats, big pots
lost). If things
continue as they
have this week
(which I expect them
to), I will hit my
goal sometime next
week. Overall, I am
extremely pleased
with this system and
quite confident in
its ability to grind
out consistent
profits - hitting
the 10k hand mark
will be important
however. Anyone
could play this
system. It is
entirely objective
and is performing
great.

somewhat. (don’t get
me wrong, I’m not
complaining these
results are
awesome). Had two
sets beat by higher
sets and a big flush
beat by full house.
Great system, great
results J. With this
ending week 1, I

today, reviewing the

Notes: The results
for today
demonstrate what
happens on a fairly
bad day with this
system. Many bad
beats were suffered
in this session
including 4 separate
sets(three of a
kind) being beat by
either flushes or
higher stets. I also
lost a couple
flushes to higher
flushes. The fact
that in light of
these, the system
still managed a gain
is quite
impressive(IMHO).
Usually after
suffering a string
of bad beats, the
typical poker player
gets frustrated,
starts playing poor
hands, trying to
force a win - goes
on tilt. With this
system, it is fairly
easy to stay sane
since you are
plyaing a system
with good results.
You know that in a
couple hands if
you’re patient
you’ll make up the
loss and then some.
LET THE CARDS COME
TO YOU.
Again, worst day
yet, however the
system still managed
to post a gain.
Beats flipping
burgers ehh? Under
normal playing
circumstances, today
probably would have
resulted in a net
loss - this is
awesome :). I
continue to be
extremely pleased
with the formal
results of the this
project.
Day 5 +17.60$/hr

Showdowns Won: 92%
Flops Seen: 23%
Hands Won(if flop
seen): 23%
Ending Amt: $806
Amt Won: $44
$/hr: 17.6
Notes: The results
for today
demonstrate what
happens on a
semi-bad day with
this system. I only
say semi, because it
was still a winning
session (made
money). Notice how
the showdowns stayed
high, but the hands
won took a big drop
from the average of
around 33. This
delta is a product
of me missing some
of my premium pair
draws and folding.
Thus the showdowns
is solid but overall
I had to fold quite
often. This is all
part of the system
and as you can see
from the results
thus far, it is
definetly a winning
system.
It feels refreshing
to know that on a
semi-bad day the
system still rocks
the tables. The
winning streak
continues but we’ll
see what tomorrow
says.
Day 4 +33.00$/hr

Amt Won: $66
$/hr: 33
Notes: Had a couple
big bad beats.
Flopped a set of 9’s
to have someone turn
over 4 3’s.
Continuing the
winning streak. Some
have asked questions
on what a win is as
well as how many
tables I play. A win
is a day where I
don't loose money.
The results posted
are for 3-4 tables
being played. Most
of the time it’s 4
tables. Part of my
system requires
playing many tables.
There is other
requirements on
table selection
involved with this
system. So far, the
system is working
and I am well on my
way to the $1200
goal. Concerning
this winning streak,
I expect the system
to win more often
than not, however it
is bound to have bad
days. I am due, so
when it happens,
discipline is key.
Greed is the enemy
of long term,
systematic poker
players.

Hands Won(if flop

Ending Amt: $696

$/hr: 57.33
Notes: Overall, this
session posted some
very nice wins.
Seems like everyone
was playing bad
against me, calling
my raises, giving me
free cards when I
needed them etc. Had
one bad beat but
also won some I
probably shouldn't
have. THis works
itself out in the
long run.
The best session
yet. I took
yesterday off and
came back winning
big. I am expecting
a losing session any
day now. Overall,
this strategy has
been much more
successfull than in
preliminary tests. I
am quite sure that
this is a solid
winning streak. I
have had 3 up days
with no down. Seem
to be hitting most
draws I need and
premium pairs are
holding up.
Discipline is key,
sticking to the
system. Also, when
things go bad, to
not be greedy and
remember that the
bad will come but
should be small
losses compared to
the nice gains.
Day 2 +34.33$/hr

Notes: One mid sized
bad beat, my
fullhouse (pocket
rockets) beat by a
four of a kind-5's
(pocket 5's). I also
delivered at least
one badbeat as well.
This day went great.
It actually did
better than the
average for the
system. So far
things are looking
good :). In general
my expectations are
to hit $20/hr and
log 3/4 winning
sessions. I do not
desire to get caught
up in expectations
though. This usually
leads to improper
playing. If you log
a losing day, you
tend to want to make
it back by going up
a level. This is how
most people fail.
For this system to
work, one MUST
maintain discipline.
If you lose, be
glad, odds are
you'll win the next
couple of sessions.
Take care and good
luck.

this, all went ok.
A good start. This
is consistent with
the results seen in
the preliminary
test. Some details
on it... Starting
with a $50 dollar
deposit, I played
$1/2 on 2-3 tables
until I could get to
around $150. Then I
played 4 tables with
the system I have
developed. This took
me to $400.00.
Please note, I have
played online hold-em
for aproximately 2
years now and have
developed this
system in this time.
Systematic Poker
I am starting with a
bankroll of $400.00
with the intent of
objectively testing
a system I have
developed for
playing low limit
holdem. I am married
and have 2 kids so I
can't play too much.
:) Given this, I
plan on playing 2
hours / day from 6-8
in the morning
before I go to work.
Goal: Hit $1200
dollars, then
reasses and possibly
go up in limits.
Play solid,
unemotional poker.
Specifics: Play $1/2
Limit Holdem at
Partypoker. Using a
system I have
developed from
playing $1/2 as well
as other peoples
ideas and theories,
I plan on applying
my system to the low
limit game in order
to grind out profits
on a consistent
basis. Full records
will be kept for all
to see, good and
bad. Preliminary
results on this
system appear to be
very solid however
time will trully
tell. Depending on
the success or
failure, I will
I believe it will
help others.
